WHY WAS TALLEY & TWINE STARTED? Talley & Twine was created after realizing that most watch companies just emulated the most popular brands. Our goal was to create a quality, detailed, attention-grabbing timepiece that spoke to a market that has been ignored by mainstream companies. We like to operate outside of the "norms" and away from the long-standing gatekeepers of the watch industry. WHERE DOES THE NAME COME FROM? Our name comes from an intersection that was formerly the center of a notorious, crime-ridden neighborhood in Virginia. In recent years, the neighborhood has been completely revitalized and those same families now have the opportunity to own. A place with a dark past now has a bright future; Talley & Twine represents that future. It's not about how you start, it's about how you finish. WHY THE NUMBER SEVEN? The number seven is used on our watches because it represents completion (7 days in a week). It serves as a reminder to finish what you start!
